Hon. Adebisi Peter (aka, Raia-Rooks), CEO & Founder of Raia Rooks Corner Lounge Limited (RRCC), Oshogbo, in 2008. Incorporated into Raia Rooks Chess Club (RRCC) in 2019. And finally, Raia Rooks Chess Academy (RRCA) in 2021🏁
Hon. Awope learned the rules of Chess at the age of twenty-five. It wasn’t long until around his early thirties that he became addicted to the game. Hon. has dedicated lots of his time to studying and playing chess. As a great lover of Chess, he has hosted, sponsored, promoted, and organized lots of Chess Tournaments. Some of these are: The Prestigious Raia Rooks Chess Olojo Festival Rapid Chess Tournaments; Raia Rooks Valentine’s Day Rapid Chess Tournaments; The Mrs. Olufunke Stroke Foundation Classic Chess Tournaments and a Host of Birthday Chess Tournaments
Hon. Adebisi Peter Awope was a Former Executive Assistant to The Osun State Governor on Economic Development Matters between 2007-2010.
