Founded in 2018, Raia Rooks Chess Academy aims to develop and empower young minds through chess, particularly reaching out to underserved communities. Our mission is to use chess as a tool to foster critical thinking, discipline, and strategic planning among children and young adults, giving them better opportunities for success in life.
We focus on:
- Youth Empowerment: Building critical thinking and problem-solving skills in youth.
- Cultural Exchange: Strengthening international relations through chess, with special emphasis on cultural heritage, particularly linked to the Olojo Festival.
- Community Impact: Reaching out to grassroots communities, giving them access to chess education and opportunities for personal growth.
